Louisa May Alcott Reading Challenge ::: JUNE 2017

Dearest readers, I thank you for joining me for the 2017 Louisa May Alcott reading challenge (Check out the details if you haven't yet!)

For today's post, I'm sharing about the L.M.A. books I'll be tackling this month for the challenge. I've decided upon 2 books -- one written by our beloved Miss Alcott, the second being a biography about her.

Aunt Jo's Scrap Bag (1872)
written by Louisa May Alcott

Reading 'Aunt Jo's Scrap Bag' this June for the LMA reading challenge!

Invincible Louisa (1933)
written by Cornelia Meigs

Reading 'Invincible Louisa' this June for the LMA reading challenge!

I'm thrilled to be reading these books this summer. And I can't wait to see which books you're going to read for the challenge as well!

So, my question to you, dear reader, is this...

What book(s) are you reading for the LMA challenge this June?

* Remember, it can be any book or story penned by the hand of Miss Alcott, or written about her.

Not sure what to read for the challenge? Check out my [List of published titles by Louisa May Alcott] for some literary inspiration this June.

Greetings. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I've added yours to my reading list. :)
I really enjoy "Jo's Boys" and "Under the Lilacs". We are currently listening to "Little Women".
    Happy reading!

I'm so glad you stopped by! I look forward to keeping up with your blog too. That's wonderful that you're listening to Little Women with your family... I love the idea of exposing young minds to the great classics. I hope you enjoy the book!

  2. Sounds like a fun challenge, Tarissa. I've only read The Inheritance by Louisa, and as it turns out, the film is actually better in my experience. Someday I need to read Little Women because I do love that story. :) Hope you enjoy these books!

Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland.

Funny you should mention The Inheritance film. I actually don't think I knew about it. Now I'd like to watch it sometime! Thanks for the recommendation, and for your comment.
