I loved this short story collection! Anyone who has enjoyed the Destiny series from Sarah Holman, will certainly relish in these few glimpses we get to see of Maria (and the gang's) future life together.

The reader gets to find out how the lives of these 4 friends went on, the changes that took place, and how each one of our favorite characters grew from their galactic adventures in the trilogy. Really, it was a cool read. Perhaps there's a few sweet, mushy scenes in there... but someone had to get married, right?!

My favorite part is when Maria reveals the raw broken places inside her. We all have them. But this is a very poignant moment in the book, and shows how emotional she is over her past experiences (that the reader knows all about from the Destiny trilogy).

Overall? It's a short read, but worth it to find out how the story truly ends. Or rather continues.

"How do we cope with the brokenness in the meantime?" Winter asked.

"We lean on God and the people that He has placed in our lives. We reach out to help those who are hurting, and build each other up. We forgive each other when we cause hurt and offense. We pray daily that God would show Himself strong in our weakness."

"I want to be like you, Maria," Winter said.
