  1. I did Blogger Shame last year :) I invite you to link up to my monthly meme State of the ARC for this! Iys geared towards knocking old ARCs off your shelf, monthly :) it has really helped me manage my stack. I think I did 20-30 last year for Blogger Shame.

    1. Carol, thanks for the recommendation! I'm glad to hear that it's a good read. I read another Cronin book a few years ago and liked it well enough.

  3. I thought I had visited this post, but it looks like I missed it! I actually just won A Long Fatal Love Chase, so I am looking forward to it in your LMA challenge. It will be interesting to read that side of her. It's been a long time since I read These Strange Ashes, but I enjoyed it quite a lot. I think it's the first chapter where she quotes William Cullen Bryant's "To a Waterfowl" and applies it to her fresh widowhood. "In the long way that I must trace alone..." gets me every time, as does the trust that God "Will lead my steps aright." If they have the same category in next year's Back to the Classics Challenge of a book that intimidates you, I might have to put Moby Dick on that one. Happy Reading!

  5. So many great challenges you're participating in! Good luck with them! I'm only doing TBR Pile and Back to the Classics challenges this year. And Mobi Dick is also on my list. I'm going to be reading it for the Back to the Classics challenge as my most feared book.

    1. Halyna, I'm glad you stopped by. What a coincidence! Moby Dick is on my Back to the Classics list, as the book that most scares me, too. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the book after you read it. I'd say that I "can't wait" to read it myself, but... :)

Best of luck to you with your reading challenges!

  6. Hello! I'm a fellow TBR challenge participant! Your list looks great. I also had Moby Dick on my list for this year and recently finished it and have my post up on the blog.
    Hope your challenge goes well!

Thanks for commenting! That's cool we've chosen at least one similar classic. I'm excited to read it soon!
